We are making worms out of playdough and comparing their size. It is hilarious looking at everyone else's worms. Fat ones, thin ones, big ones small ones- Ben even made a flat one!

Tamaki 4 Leads Assembly

Today Tamaki 4 took charge and ran the Tamaki Campus Assembly very successfully. Everyone spoke using the microphine. 

Keenan shared his favourite book, "The Pig Pen Party' and did a wonderful job.

Vaila shared her favourite book. 'Slippery Fish' and she did very well too.

It was a very successful event!

Welcome to  Tamaki 4  2014

This year our teacher is Vicki. Jackie, Malkait and Lynda  (Wednesdays) are our learning assistants.

We have 3 new students in our class. There are 7 of us now

We are Keenan, Talia, Clarice, Serena, Ben, Vaila and Zakara.

We have a very busy year of action packed learning and adventure.

Manaiakalani Film Festival- Our Dog Meg

Tamaki 4 is super excited about participating in the Manaiakalani Film Festival for the first time. We created this movie to share how we have been learning how to care for our dog Meg. This has been part of a special program at Sommerville called SPEC. We have focused on the key competency 'Using Language, Symbols and Text' from the NZ curriculum. We were learning how to be responsible for a pet. Meg had a great time at school!

Fireworks Safety

Today we were learning how to be safe around fireworks.
